For most recreational PADI courses you will just need to complete the medical questionnaire. However for all Professional Level Courses and all Technical Courses, you will need to bring a signed medical from a doctor, stating that you are “fit to dive”.

No, but if you do not dive for a period of time (12 months), we would advise you to do a refresher – just for your own safety.

As an Open Water Diver you will be certified to 18m. But by doing the Advanced Open Water Diver Course, you will be certified to 30m. The maximum depth for recreational diving is 40m. We also run courses to 90m……..

Certainly not initially, we will provide all of the equipment for you during your course. However, as a new diver, we do advise you to buy at least your own mask and fins in store for maximum comfort and personal fit. You will then find, that the more you dive, the more equipment you will look to own.

Ideally, yes. You should bring your certificate of completion to your first session.

If you choose to do the eLearning it will take 2 days of practical after you have finished studying. Or if you chose the Manual option it will usually take 4 days. But all course are performance based, so it depends on personal progress.

The fee covers your knowledge development training and gives you unlimited access to an electronic version of the PADI course that you have signed up for. eLearning fees are paid directly to PADI.

eLearning: is PADI’s online way to study and for many people are the way to go. You can get started immediately and work at your own pace using the PADI eLearning system. This convenient, interactive study option allows you to learn anytime and anywhere. Both online and offline versions are available for many courses.

Manual: PADI’s manual option is more for people that have time to go to theory classes. If you prefer a more interactive learning experience with an instructor, this is for you. You’ll be covering all the required theory work in a couple of days. You’ll also receive a book to complete all of your knowledge reviews.

Open Water Diver Course– Get your scuba diving certification with the PADI Open Water Diver course. Once qualified, you will have a valid diving license, that can be used anywhere in the world, for life.

Yes! We provide, water and fresh fruit on board. For lunch you can contact the Front desk so they can prepare an order which is made by the Miramar Hotel.

Yes. You need to bring some from of ID (You national ID, Passport, Emirates ID etc.) Also please bring your logbook and your Diving Certifications.
