For most recreational PADI courses, you will just need to complete the medical questionnaire. However, for all Professional Level Courses and all Technical Courses, you will need to bring a signed medical from a doctor, stating that you are “fit to dive.”
No, but if you do not dive for a period of time (12 months), we advise you to do a refresher – just for your own safety.
As an Open Water Diver, you will be certified to 18m. By completing the Advanced Open Water Diver Course, you will be certified to 30m. The maximum depth for recreational diving is 40m, but we also run courses up to 90m.
Initially, no. We provide all the equipment during your course. However, as a new diver, we advise you to buy your own mask and fins for maximum comfort and personal fit.
It depends on your pace. For the Open Water Diver Course, it may take around 6 hours.

With eLearning, it typically takes 2 days of practical after studying. The Manual option usually takes 4 days, depending on individual progress.
The fee covers your knowledge development training and gives you unlimited access to an electronic version of the PADI course you have signed up for. eLearning fees are paid directly to PADI.
There are 5 pool sessions and 4 Open Water dives in the Open Water course.
You can start the open water diver course from 10 years old, but there are courses for 8 years and above.

You don’t need to be an Olympic swimmer. However, you will need to be comfortable in the water and be able to swim 200m and float for 10 minutes.
